Founded in 1984, Essential Systems has been providing custom software development, consulting and support in distributed computing environments. Our company works at all levels within networked systems, from configuring network hardware to development of distributed data acquisition and control software. Most of Essential Systems' software development projects involve relational databases, including DB2, Oracle, SQLServer, Interbase, MySQL, and others. Our development process utilizes the Java, Delphi, and C++ programming languages as well as a variety of scripting languages.

Essential Systems supports a broad variety of workstations and servers including Win32s and Linux. We also support Mac, OS/2 and Novell. Our Linux support division, ES Linux Group, serves the fast growing need for Linux server configuration and administration.

Essential Systems is located in West View, PA, just north of the City of Pittsburgh. Our work environment is informal with plenty of technical challenge.
